Open Alpha Launch & Updates
🐭🔨Thank you Mouse Testers!
On March 23rd we launched the Close Alpha for around 500 users, immediately it was a success. Members of our community reported bugs, streamed their gameplays and chatted away regarding alpha!
Coming from the Greek alphabet, ‘Alpha’ is the first letter of the alphabet and means in software development the first testing version before it launches for the general public.
With it, Mouse Haunt divided its Alpha release into both close and then open to reward the most active members. Thanks to the amazing support from the community of Close Alpha Testers, we were able to launch the Open Alpha even sooner than we thought!
Lock and Loaded: Open Alpha is now available for the general public since its official launch April 5th! To be able to play it you need at least one Mouse Hero, which you can get from our official marketplace.
✅The team implemented the following for version 0.2:
- Added click cursors over buttons.
- Added a settings screen.
- Added music and sound effects.
- Added info screen with mouse details.
- Changed the farming rates.
- Fixed same outfit rules for Squad synergy
- Fixed UI elements.
- Squad bonus is shown as a percentage.
- Exhausted mice have a timer that shows how long they will to be fully rested.
- Inventory screen now has a better UI regarding synergies between mice.
- Synergy button redirects to white paper.
- When added to a squad, mice are automatically send to farm.
The launch of Open Alpha puts us in the phase three of our roadmap! The next step is the Beta version (coming soon 👀) which will be play-to-earn with actual $MHT compensation. Check our roadmap below:
Since it’s our first version of the game, it is still under testing and further development by the team, therefore, the ‘Alpha Tokens’ are not real cryptocurrency and just a representation of how MHT will look. The farming rate of the tokens are still under development as well.
